How should I present my photographs for the competition?
After completing the online form and filling in the required details, you will be directed to the upload page where you can upload your photos. Photos with signatures or watermarks are not allowed.
Where will the exhibition of the winning images be held?
The finalist photographers will be exhibited at Villa Altieri in Rome in the collective exhibition.
Is there a limit to the number of photos I can submit to the competition?
No. You can participate in the competition with as many photos as you want.
What are the specifications for photo uploads?
You can find the file specifications on the Rules page.
Is there a time limit on when the photograph was taken?
Yes, you can only submit photos taken from January 1, 2023.
Can I participate with an image that has participated in other competitions or has already been published before?
Both unpublished images and those that have been previously published are accepted.
Can I participate with an image that has won other competitions?
Yes, both images submitted to other competitions and photos that have won awards in other competitions are accepted.
How will my images be used?
The images will never be used for purposes other than promoting the Rome Photo Lab and all related initiatives.
When and how will the results be announced?
Rome Photo Lab will contact the finalists via email at the address registered on their account page. The winners will then be announced on the second day of the Festival.
